Monthly Quilting Club

The Monthly Quilting Club (formerly known as the Ruler Club) is a group that gets together via Zoom on the Second Sunday of the month at 9:30 AM PST for 3 hours(ish) to chat, learn and quilt. Kellie will lead the class and will share tips and tricks for quilting your quilts and other projects, not only with rulers, but general quilting knowledge!

Every month you will get a quick update as to what is new at Silly Moon and will get to see first what rulers are in the works!  We will then jump into either our project or a ruler instructional demo that you can either sew along with or just enjoy your tea or coffee and watch. 

Every second month we will do a complete project i.e. table runner, table topper, placemat or something else that is fun and we will get mostly done in the 3 hours (ish).  You will be provided with a supply list two weeks ahead of the class time so that you can prepare your project and we can get right into the quilting!

All sessions will be recorded and available for 6 months after the recording date so that you can refer back to them, or watch if you were unable to attend in person.  

While part of the club you automatically will receive a code for 15% any order and 30% off all on demand classes.  There will also be random draws for some fun prizes (at least one per meeting)

You will also have direct access to Kellie via a special email, no longer will you get lost in the inbox!  You can send pictures of the quilt you are working on and Kellie will help you come up with some ideas for quilting via email, or perhaps even through a quick Zoom meeting to chat in person!

Every month Kellie will be showcasing one or two rulers - there is NO requirement to purchase these rulers to participate.  Many of last years members watched the class, joined in the social fun and then made the decision if they wanted the rulers or not!

Rulers that will be used for the next three months:

November - Holiday Project - Table topper - Straight edge ruler such as Edgie 6 or Rocket would be helpful! This class will be 5 hours as we will be cutting, sewing and quilting a table topper! 

December - Get the most out of our Drop Rulers

January - Starting a new year - Beanies for fun!

If you choose the monthly fee of $19.99 CND , you will be sent a bill for subsequent months, one week before the class and if it is not paid 24 hours prior to the class, you will not receive the link for that months meeting.  

If you choose the annual fee of $199.99 CND , you will be contacted in one year to see if you wish to continue your subscription.
